Michael Orozco joins U.S. for Iceland clash
Defender Michael Orozco has been added to the roster for the U.S. Men’s National Team match against Iceland Sunday afternoon. Orozco was set to be available for training Friday and return to Club Tijuana on Sunday evening.
Orozco has been recovering from a preseason ankle injury which sidelined him for the first three games of the Liga MX season. Orozco has appeared 20 times for the U.S., including seven games last year. He scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Mexico Aug. 15, 2012, delivering the USA its first win against Mexico in Mexico.
