OCEAN CITY, NJ---The Ocean City Nor'easters closed out the 2010 Premier Development League season on a sour note, losing to the West Virginia Chaos 2-1 on Saturday night at Carey Stadium.

USL plans new league
ROCHESTER, NY---The United Soccer Leagues is going to take a crack at indoor soccer. The league announced on Wednesday that the Rochester Lancers will be the first franchise in the new I-League. The league, which plans to start operations in the fall of 2011, expects to announce franchises in Syracuse, NY, and Hampton Roads, Va.

Union top Reading affiliate 2-0
READING, Pa---An own goal and one by Nick Zimmerman gave the Philadelphia Union a 2-0 win over their minor league affiliate Reading united AC at Don Thomas Stadium Wednesday night.
The Union took the lead in the 34th minute, when a cross into the penalty area deflected off the leg of Reading’s Eric Schoenle’s leg and into the net.
