Few chief executives in Major League Soccer have roots as deeply grounded in the sport as Real Salt Lake President Bill Manning. After all, the former Philadelphia Eagles executive, was a Division II All –American while in college at Bridgeport State University and was on the Brooklyn Italians when they won the U.S. Open Cup in 1991.
