Sonic joins WPSL

After capturing the 2012 National Premier Soccer League Championship, FC LVU Sonic is entering a team in the Women's Premier Soccer League, which will be called Lady Sonic.

“There are a lot of good players in the Valley and we hope to create a very competitive environment that will compete for the WPSL title year in and year out – similar to what we have created with the men’s program, said general manager & president Matt McTish . "The WPSL is a very competitive league with high standards and we want to find the best players possible to represent our organization on and off the field.”

FC LVU SONIC has won two national championships dating back to their inception, 2008 – as the PA Stoners) and three Northeast Conference titles.

Open tryouts for Lady Sonic and the Sonic will be held on March 10th at Whitehall High School.
